Annie was the star of the week this week. We put together a poster full of pictures of her favorite things and she had a blast sharing it with the class.

Another BIG Announcement!!

We had our ultrasound today and we're having a BOY!! We're thrilled but I'm a little freaked out too!! We got some cute ultrasound pictures that I'll post soon.

Another fun day in the sun!

Christie Curtis came by today with her boys. The girls had a blast! We went to a different pool today and the lifeguards didn't enforce the height requirements so Katie was able to go on the waterslide too!

Annie had to wear her swimshirt again today to cover her hives although they looked much better today!

We're on vacation right now. The girls had a blast today in the pool. Katie especially loved the "pool that moves you" (lazy river) and Annie loved the waterslide, ... Katie wasn't tall enough to ride on the waterslide, ... I think anyone staying at the resort could hear her throwing tantrums each time Annie went on the slide and Katie couldn't go. Here are a few pictures, ... hopefully I'll get more tomorrow!

ALLERGIC

Annie and Katie had an ear infection the week after Christmas and were put on Amoxicillin. Annie woke up this past Sunday morning (3am) complaining of itching. Little did I know, it was an allergic reaction to her medicine so, ... hours later I gave her another dose. With only two more doses remaining, my brilliant sister Holly told me that Annie was having a reaction to her medicine!! I felt horrible! I figured she was reacting to something she ate or laundry detergent. Anyway, I post this as a way to inform you. Poor Annie's so itchy and uncomfortable. We're on vacation right now though and she is so excited to be here that she rarely complains.

Happy New Year!!

Last night our friends Stew and Suzanne spent the night so this afternoon we went to our favorite beach in Laguna. I brought plenty of sweatshirts and warm clothes preparing for cold weather. At the last minute, I allowed the girls to wear their bathing suits but I warned them that they wouldn't want to wear them once they felt how cold it was. I thought we'd just have fun getting our feet wet and searching for fun sea creatures in the tide pools. Well we definitely did that but most of the time was spent playing in the water! It was a beautiful day and we all had a good time. Even Josh got some boogie boarding and snorkeling in!

When we got home from the beach, it was FINALLY time to chop down the gingerbread house! The girls were so excited!

While eating candy off the gingerbread house, the girls decorated it with streamers from our New Years poppers.
