Disneyland

Last week I did a not-so-smart thing, ... I played a little basketball with the Young Women. Not a good idea when you're seven months pregnant and haven't played basketball in years. Needless to say, I couldn't walk for days! I was finally feeling better on Sunday which is when I came down with a horrible cold. My poor girls! They've been stuck inside for a week and they've been so patient about it!! This morning I decided to take them to Disneyland because they definitely deserved a fun day out with me! Josh did take the girls to Sea World on Saturday and to Chuck E. Cheeses (which is their absolute favorite place!) last night but I felt like I needed to make up for some lost time.

The girls love all the rides at Disneyland. This morning Annie asked if she could ride on one of the little roller coasters in Toon Town sitting next to Katie. I couldn't see why that would be a problem, especially if I were sitting right in front of them. I thought her face was cute on the ride so I had to capture it! It's especially cute that she claims she the ride was fun at the conclusion of the ride! :)

Here's a funny thing, .. despite the fact Annie's a whole head taller than Katie, I was asked twice today if they were twins!!

ANNIE CATCHES HER FIRST FISH!!!!!!!!

While I was still setting up my pole Annie reeled this monster in all by herself- just like a pro. How she knew what to do is beyond me... maybe she watched an episode or two of Bassmaster on TV?....Josh

Josh took Annie fishing today and she caught her first fish!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADA!!!

The girls had a blast making Josh's birthday cake. They picked out the cake and insisted it be blue because afterall, blue is Josh's favorite color! They then wanted Swedish Fish because they're Josh's favorite candy and "Dada likes to fish!" Annie wanted to get Josh a blue car for his birthday. She said it would be perfect because he loves cars and blue! I love to hear their thoughtfulness even if it is completely unrealistic!

I also added a little video. It cracks me up because Annie insisted we put all 31 candles on the cake but once they were lit, they were mesmerized by all the fire on top of the cake!! I guess we should have put three on the top and one on the bottom of the cake like I had suggested. :)

Don't use T-Mobile!!

My sister had a run-in with T-Mobile today. She adjusted her monthly minutes a few weeks ago but the change didn't go through (a technical error on T-Mobile's part) so she was charged a ton of money for overage. You need to watch this little video that she made for them. You can relate if you've ever had issues with your cell phone company.
